4 Month Check Up
So Jack had his 4 Month Doctor's appt today. He is in the 80th Percentile of head, weight and height. It was so funny, he kept tooting away while laying on the table. So Jack is on his way to becoming the largest, stinkiest cutest baby lizard ever! See picture below :)
Jack is so much fun. He talks and sings and loves going to daycare. He loves it when other kids are around. I have a feeling he is going to be a very social kid. He has also just found his feet and is starting to roll over all on his own.

2 Month Check Up
Jack had his 2 month check up yesterday. I can't believe it's been over two months already, time flies by so fast. Well, Jack is now 24.5 inches long and weighs 13.7 lbs. So he is in the 80% in height and 75% in weight and head size. So we are on our way to a football player ;) I felt so bad for him when he received his shots, poor kid. He did really well though and just wanted his mom to hold him after (he loves me).
Jack has turned into one happy baby. He loves to see everything around him and be part of the conversation. The only time he cries is when he is hungry or has a poopy diaper, just like his dad. Hee hee. He basically sleeps during the night depending on when he falls asleep.
This is mine and Jack's last full week together with me at home before I go back to work. So sad, I've basically done nothing but play and hang out with him every day so far this week.

End of Summer
So I think we have done more in the month of August compared to the whole summer. Well, I guess we did have a baby in June, I guess that counts as something . . .
I thought I would mention that Josh was asked to throw the first pitch at an Orem Owls game which was pretty awesome. I didn't get an actual picture of him throwing the pitch because it happened so fast.

If you look close you can see Josh there on the field right after he threw the pitch

Good Times
So where has August gone to? It's already past half way over, what's up with that. It always seems like after the 24th of July summer is over. I'll be back to work soon too which I'm excited and nervous for because it will be hard to take Jack to Daycare. Seriously, how cute is he?On Sunday, Josh and I were invited to attend a fundraiser/prom for the REAL Soccer Players. Josh's work donated some services to the event so they let us crash their party at La Caille. Josh was definitely star struck over the players. It was really fun to watch the players letting loose on the dance floor. Josh and I waited until the end of the evening to ask for pictures with them because they were a bit looser with a few drinks in them. I even got kissed on the forehead by a tipsy player, a bit weird, but funny story. Plus we sat by the men's restroom so the players had to pass by us. This was not intentional but it worked out perfectly for us.

There are more pictures but I'll have to post them later . . .

Diaper Changes
So I just thought I'd post this picture of Josh changing Jack's poopy diapers. So hilarious. I try to get him to change his crap diapers just so I can get a good laugh. Josh is definitely getting better but it is still great to see Josh gag during the whole change. Seriously, he gags thee whole entire time. So he tried to tie a receiving blanket around his mouth to mask the smell but that didn't work out too well.

Jack's Pictures
So I went to the mall and got Jack's pictures taken. He did very well after being man handled by the photographer. Below are some of the pics. Apparently, Kiddie Kandids doesn't have a soccer ball prop so I brought one for Jack to pose with. The Manager said that they will more than likely use the soccer ball pic for the marketing, which is totally awesome. Jack looks exactly like Josh in these pics.
Sidenote -- At Jack's two week appt last week, he weighed 9.10 lbs and has grown to 21 inches. Officially, we can no longer force the newborn diapers on him (I'm tired of getting leaked on).

Two Weeks
So it has been two weeks today since Jack was born. It's crazy how time flies. Jack is as cute as ever. He looks more and more like Josh everyday (so if there were any questions if Josh was the father, you should have you answer just by looking at the kid). He definitely looks like Josh from the nose down, but it seems like he has my eyes. He's a really good baby so far (I'm crossing my fingers it stays that way). He only cries when he's hungry for the most part. Below are some more pics of Jack.

Totally Freaking Out, But In A Good Way :)
So I had my appt with my OB today and we found out that our Doctor is going to be out of town on my due date, the 18th through the weekend. And we want him to deliver Jack because we quite enjoy Dr. Watts. Mostly we like him because he tells funny jokes with us and he looks like Cal Ripken Jr. Anyways, he's really great. So we (Josh and I) decided to be induced next week on Tuesday! Um, ya, that is only 7 days from this moment. We, mostly me, are totally freaking out because Jack's due date has always been so far away, but as of tomorrow, it will be less than a week.
Am I ready? Are we ready? Of course we're not, but we'll be just fine.

Baby Shower Extravaganza Day
On Saturday, I had 2 Baby Showers, which meant for a LONG day for me. Below are some pics from both Showers. Thanks to my family for being so patient with my emotions (you know what I'm talking about). And thanks to my friends for everything on Saturday as well. It was a very fun day for me :) Also, just disregard the chubby girl in most of the pictures. People tell me that I need to take more pictures of me so I can look back on them after the pregnancy so I'm being brave and posting more of me.
Brynlee hardly left my side while I opened presents. You will see in other pictures. Here are the Warner Girls.

I do too Blog
I do too blog . . . when I feel motivated to do it, which is rare. Josh and I have been pretty busy lately. We went to our Birth Prep Class on Wednesday and Saturday. As you can see, Josh really liked wearing the pregnant belly. I'm not really surprised. But he did keep complaining about how it sat right on his bladder. "Poor Guy."
After our class on Saturday, we just had this realization that Jack will be here so soon. Less than 2 months. Crazy. Kind of freaks us out a bit, but we're excited and ready. I don't know anyone who's excited more than Josh. Oh! Something so funny during our Birth class. For some reason, Josh kept rubbing and tickling my back through the whole class which is very strange because usually I have to make a bargain/beg him. But I wasn't going to say anything in case he realized his mistake and stopped. After, as we were driving home, he brought up the fact that he noticed all of the other husbands/partners were rubbing the womens' back SO that made him feel like he had to too. Hey, I'll take a guilt back rub any day.
Then we went to the REAL game that night where they won 6 to 0. That is the highest scoring soccer game I've ever been to, which really isn't saying much because I honestly haven't been to a ton. But it was fun. And the Nachos were delicious :)
And as promised, here are some pics of our completed kitchen. (minus backsplash and molding)

We have lots of magnets!!!
Its getting close
So Ashley never blogs anymore, so I thought I would throw something on. Saturday we went to our "labor ready class." I have never been so excited for this little baby, I can't wait. We got to see the nursery, wow, what a awesome site. Anywho, glad Paul Kreuger and Shaun Smith got drafted in the second round, with Bryce McCain going a bit later, Awesome.

Catch Up
So I am thinking it's time for me to post something, what do you think? I am terrible at this whole blogging thing. Why did I start it again? Well, Josh and I have been sort of busy lately. Well, mostly Josh. I'm still going to school and Josh is still dealing with my pregnant mood swings. Poor guy. I get tired, I take it out on him. I get hungry, I take it out on him. I can't sleep, I shove him because he's breathing on me. And every time I apologize to him after I feel better (sometimes).
Well, Josh and I have been talking about remodeling our kitchen since we got married. We were planning on getting it done before baby Jack is here but we had to do it in March before Josh started getting really busy at work. The first week goes by in March, we don't do anything. Second week of March goes by, we don't do anything. Here comes the third week, and Josh decides that we don't need to wait any longer and he starts hammering holes in the walls with the theory in mind that if our kitchen is a mess, it will force us (mostly him) to get it done and stop being scared to do it. First thing on the list, knock down some walls. Our kitchen was basically a cave with original everything from 1986.Then Josh tore down another wall and built in a pantry. He could be on "This Old House." He's amazing.
So instead of giving a step by step of everything we (Josh) did, I'll just post some pics and describe if needed. PS, why is it so difficult to post pictures on Blogger?
The fridge was moved to the middle of the kitchen, it used to be to the right where the wall was before Josh knocked it down
Here is the almost finished product.
The kitchen is basically done now. Josh just painted the cabinets white and we got a cool new sink. I keep forgetting to take pictures of it to post. All that needs to be done now are the little things that aren't vital for a kitchen to be functional. Seriously, it was horrible having no kitchen for awhile. But Josh got it done in less than a month due to working until 2 am and getting up at 6 am so he could get it done. He's one of those people that actually finishes things that he starts. Weird. Plus, it seems when your house is a complete disaster, so are other things in your life, doesn't it? With help from Brian, Josh's coworker, Matt, Josh's brother and Scotty, Josh's BFFer, this was all possible. And thanks to me, always looking over Josh's shoulder bothering him.
